Jessica Arnett Williamson
Please contact us Jessica so we can arrange your prize!

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Happy Swaggin' Saturday everyone.
I bet there are some crafty Leelou readers out there that will appreciate this amazing giveaway I have for you today.
Please read this next sentence in your best Oprah voice-

Who want's to win a Silhouuuuuuette????
{Ok, ok sit down, stop screaming and crying}

I was the happiest girl in the world when I was sent a Silhouette to review and I have to say that I am now a hard core believer of it's awesomeness.
A
Silhouette cutting machine can do so many things I don't even know where to begin. Let me give you a quick explanation of exactly what it is:
The
Silhouette is a digital cutting tool for personal use. It connects to your computer just like a printer, but instead of printing designs it cuts them with a small blade. With the machine connected to your computer, you'll get access to all of the fonts on your PC plus the thousands of designs found on the Silhouette Online Store.

Here is just one of the projects I have used my Silhouette for. My 3 year old daughter is in a totally independent phase and wants to put on her shoes all by herself. Because of this, she often puts her shoes on the wrong feet and her toes hurt after 3 minutes. So I thought I would use my new fancy schmancy Silhouette to cut out an image onto vinyl.

I then cut the image in half and stuck half in the left shoe and half in the right shoe. Now she just has to line up the picture of the butterfly correctly to put her shoes on the right feet.

I don't think I have ever used anything so versatile, helpful or creative. You can save so much money on gifts, Birthday parties (you should see the cupcake wrappers!) and school projects.
I have a long list of things I have yet to make with it. I don't even have time to tell you of all the fabric projects I have in store. I love this thing!

...........

This week we are giving away a Silhouette machine and it comes with 1 roll of black premium vinyl, 1 roll of frosted vinyl, 1 roll of premium transfer paper and a Home Décor CD of cutable images!

If you just can't wait and have to go out and get a Silhouette right NOW, they have set up the promo code LEELOU for you to use at checkout.
It will only be active through March 1st, so hurry hurry!

Using that promo code on
silhouetteamerica.com will get you the entire package we are giving away today for only $225. (A $75.00 value)

It will also be good for 25% off all premium vinyl.
------------------------------------------------------------------

There are several ways to enter the giveaway. The first is required. The others just raise your chances of winning. Leave a separate comment for each of the things you do.

You Have To Do This -
Go to Silhouette and pick your favorite item. Then come back and comment on this post telling us which one you'd want to try out first.

  1. I was so excited to read about Silhouette!! I've never heard of it before, but now I REALLY BADLY want one!! I really enjoy sewing, so the first product I would want to try would be the sewable fabric interfacing. Using this product I could cut some unique designs with my Silhouette, & incorporate it into the quilts I make as gifts for friends & family. I've also started donating several of my quilts, so I think it would give me a wonderful opportunity to create some beautiful warmth for someone in need.
    Thank you!

  6. Well, first of all I want the Silhouette!!! I have a very cramped crafting area and have refused to buy the larger cutting machines due to space restraints. But reading about the Silhouette I can fit it in right by my computer and actually use it because I wouldn't have to keep moving out of my way. I like the vinyl. I want to do some word wall art but it's expensive and I can't find just what I want. This way it would be my orginal design suited to my needs. OK, now I'm hooked on all the possiblities! Thanks for the opportunity!

  7. Ok I have been looking at all the different machines out there (cricut, silhouette, etc) and since I'm more of a quilter/crafter, I want something that works with fabric too, and I think this is where I need to go! I would love to try the vinyl though, because I really wanted to put a bible verse on my bedroom wall, but I haven't convinced myself that hand painting it wouldn't take forever. This is REALLY the way to go!! Thanks for such a great giveaway!

  147. oooo- LOVE those butterflies! Was it regular or exterior vinyl? How is it holding up to wear?

I think my fav Silhouette craft has to be the etched glass fishbowl with the fish's name on it -so great for a kids room!
