Picasa photo editing and digital scrapbooking!

Ok ladies and several gentlemen...
Today I have wonderful things to tell you about. All of them awesome and all of them free.

First off I'll introduce you to Picasa. If you haven't heard of them by now, you're totally missing out.  Picasa is a great program that lets you create digital scrapbook pages super fast and super easy.
It's super free too, so that's a huge plus!
And to save my inbox from overflowing, yes you can totally edit photos with Picasa too.

One of my favorite e-friends Chari has put together a couple videos that show you around Picasa and just how easy it is to use. She has 2 great tutorials that you need to check out.

To see them
and

Sarah from Clover Lane has written a great Picasa tutorial if you'd rather scan through her images and instructions instead.

You can find that by clicking here.

So now you know how easy it is to make cute digital scrapbooky things with Picasa, and now you can download my monthly computer desktop themes and customize them with your own pictures for free!

I'm not sponsored or paid by Picasa to sing their praises, I just think they're awesome. And it's by Google. And all things Google are awesome. Speaking of which, do you use Google Chrome? Because it's free too and it rocks my world. Click here to get it and love it.

Ok, last one I promise...
While we're speaking of really cool free things...did you see those cute scrapbook pages above? Persnickety Prints just came out with an Anthropology inspired digital kit and it's adorable! And of course free. Click here to get that too!

Alright already.  That's enough freebies for one day. Create away my friends. And then show me what you make cause I'd love to see!

  4. Hello. I know this is off topic for this post, but I wanted to let you know that I've awarded you an informal blogging award called "Stylish Blogger Award".

To read about this award, please visit my blog post here: http://thechucklingmuse.blogspot.com/2011/02/stylish-blog-award.html

Please don't feel like you have to participate in this in anyway. I know I wouldn't have if it didn't give me an excuse to see what other blogs were out there.

I should also let you know that I linked your blog on that post. If you wish me to remove the link, please just ask.

Congrats on having what I think is a stylish blog!

  6. I love using Picasa and have never been more organized with my photos. I've done some basic digital pages, but haven't tried using digital paper yet. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

  10. First I want to tell you that I LOVE your designs! I am using one for my Christmas blog. Second, I was wondering if you could do a plain white template? I like the clean lines of it and am using the plain minima for my other blog. Only thing is... I can't center my header. I can if it is smaller but I don't want it smaller, lol. Hope you have a beautiful day!

  11. GREAT POST! Even those of us using Photoshop Software love the speed and simplicity of whipping out 10-15 images in a picasa collage to get "caught up"!
