Long time gone.

Hey guys! Long time, no post!
So as if the end of summer isn't busy enough, for the past few weeks I have had the pleasure of finding a new server and moving EVERY SINGLE graphic image I've ever made.  Due to that, I've been slacking majorly here, and with Leelou Swag, Facebook, Twitter, cleaning my house, laundry...pretty much life in general has come to a halt as I am trying to move my images. So I hope you don't miss me too much, but I'll be back ASAP.

-----------------------------------------------------------

In the mean time...
Have you grabbed the new August computer wallpaper for your desktop? It's a fun one. I'll be making some free blog layouts to match it, but again...gotta fix the server mess I'm in first. More info on that crisis later...

-----------------------------------------------------------

Leelou is growing and I've been busy busy. I don't have much time for Leelou Swag and would love some help. If you are snarky and opinionated and want to review some fun products, let me know!

-----------------------------------------------------------

Speaking of Leelou Swag, today we're giving away something fabulous of your choice from DownEast Basics!
DownEast people!

-----------------------------------------------------------

I apologize that I didn't post the winners for the 2 latest giveaways here either! The winner of the
  DIY Dish giveaway is:
Pamcakes

and the winner of the awesome Eclipse prize package is:
McKayla Grey

Please email me so we can get your prizes to you!

-----------------------------------------------------------

Alright, that's all I have to say for now. I really do have lots of super fun stuff on the way, it will just be delayed a bit. Be sure to subscribe to my newsletter, blog, facebook or twitter to get the latest updates!

Get your free printables Printed!

Did you download the Leelou printables and aren't sure what to do next? We want to help you use them and get them put together as quickly as possible. You just need to download, print and cut them out. Then you can hang them up, hand them out and use them right away.

We make all of our printables so that they are ready to print on an 8.5x11 inch standard sheet of paper.
For our custom printables that you can edit and add things to, you can use any software editing program. If you don't have a program for editing but would like to learn more about how you can customize our printables (and make your own too), we recommend using MyMemories Suite as your editing software. Its our favorite and is the easiest and cheapest program out there.

Once you download the printables to your computer they are ready to print off. You are more than welcome to print them on your home printer. Our printables do have lots of color so if you want even higher quality prints (or don't want to use that much of your ink) I suggest having them printed at Persnickety Prints

They are an professional photo lab and have extremely high quality machines. I do all my printing through them. You can submit your order online and they ship it to you within days. (Their customer service is extremely amazing as well, which I love). With Persnickety, you can also have your printables printed on photo paper instead of just cardstock, which makes them look really nice.

Another option is to take the downloads and either put them on a thumb drive or email them to your local printing or office supply store. That way you can get the printables right away and it generally is pretty cheap to get a couple color prints on cardstock.

Please let me know if you have any other questions about your printables and I'd love to help.
Thanks!

Distance For Davis

Meet Davis...

Davis was a super active 8th grader who loved to be outdoors, boating, hiking, hanging out with friends and family and playing baseball and football.

Last March Davis contracted a very rare virus, which resulted in Aplastic Anemia. He can no longer do any of the things a 14 year old boy regularly does. Things a 14 year old boy should be doing!
Please read all about Davis here to see what he has been through in the last 6 months. So much more then any Jr. High kid should have to go through!

What really drew me to this story is how strong and positive Davis is. And his communities support is amazing. These are some neighbor hood kids that sold lemonade and brownies, giving all the money they made to Davis and his family.
This picture kills me!

There are so many fundraisers going on that you can participate in!

The Utah Blaze is putting on a football camp for boys age 8-15, there is a dance for teenagers and a blood drive, car show, live entertainment (including Cameron Rafati!!) and hot air balloon rides!

Please go check out Distance for Davis and help this sweet family! If you don't live in Utah but would still love to help, you can make donations through his website. Feel free to post about Davis to help get the word out. Davis and his family need our help. If you'd like to participate in a fundraiser, please check those out soon as most of them are happening this week! Thank you so much!
