It's not very well known. Anyone seen it yet? Anyone totally LOVE it?
Some of you may know that I'm a big Twilight fan. It's like my little sister. I make fun of it all the time but totally love the heck out of it. Eclipse was way better then I thought it would be. Might be my favorite one yet.
A few of my favorite highlights were:
-of course Edwards cute proposal
There was one part at the end where Riley tells Edward "You're dead." and he TOTALLY looked like someone, but I couldn't figure out who. Then it all clicked...
Christy (my swag buddy) and I threw a pre-show party at our movie theater again. This year they wanted us to do it outside so both auditoriums showing Eclipse could play in the games.
Most people really liked this. Some did not.
So for a few hours before the show we had some super fun trivia, contests and prizes.
Oh the prizes! We had over 500 items donated from local and online businesses. We put some aside and are giving away a sweet Twilight package for one of you!
This package has over 25 Twilight related items. Things like shirts, keychains, earrings, bracelets, waterbottles, posters, vinyl...TONS of stuff!

My FAV part of Eclipse was when Edward had to watch Jacob warm Bella inside the tent. The tension in that tent was AWESOME!!!!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite part, hands down, was when Charlie was breaking up the Edward/Jacob fight. "I kissed Bella... She punched me... In the face... and hurt her hand... It was all just a misunderstanding." LOVE it.

ReplyDeleteOMG! The entire movie was exactly what I had pictured when I was reading the book. Overall though, my fav for today is the past scenes before Rose was a vamp. Loved her in the wedding dress getting ready to kill her ex-beau. Loved the drama queen'ness.

I really loved that in this movie (I've read all books so I already knew this) they developed Roselie and Jaspers characters more, in preparation for Breaking Dawn. I love the "real-ness" of Roselie telling Bella that she envied her, made her look less "bitchy".

I just have no patience waiting for the next one to come out! I have 2 teenage daughters who are Jacob fans, and I am the old fashioned Edward fan. This prize is so great! Thanks!

ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite parts was the whole scene when Jacob kissed Bella and then she punched him and hurt her hand and then when Jacob took her back home and there was a confrontation between him and Edward and Charlie jumped in to referee. I just love Charlie and was thinking the whole time, if only he knew he was stepping in between a vampire and a werewolf!
I don't know if I could pick just one part. Eclipse is my favorite book of the 4. I do love how sentimental Edward is, and gives Bella his Mother's ring when he asks her to marry him. Also when he gives her the heart charm for her bracelet, it was also from his Mother. I loved the action of the wolves and the vampires fighting together against the bad vampires. It was just an awesome movie all around.

ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite parts was when Alice and Jasper showed a little love! It was refreshing to have a kissing scene that was not E & B. Hope that's not awful to say but I thought they were so cute!

We loved the ENTIRE thing...it was so hard to pinpoint a specific scene but I would have to say when Edward was telling Bella how he would court her (LOVE!), and the end....oh, all of it!!!!!!! I loved the training part! Seeing the wolfpack come together with the vampires, and the understanding that was had w/o words, was pretty incredible... this was a GREAT adaptation of the book! <3 it!

I love this entering once a day thing :) So this time my favorite thing isn't exactly from the movie, but about who I took to see the movie. The third time I went to see it I took my dad to go see it with me. He loved it. Thank goodness he grew up with four sisters and can handle this sort of stuff. Anyways, my favorite part about seeing it with him is seeing the similarities between him and Charlie. And listening to my dad laugh at Charlie's lines. It was great.

My favorite scenes were the actual fights (though the practice rounds were fun too!). When reading, we knew quite a bit about the Edward and Victoria battle, but we were given hardly any information on what happened during Cullens and Wolves V. newborns and it was so thrilling and heart pounding to see it play out! And I won't lie, it was pretty cool seeing Carlisle and Esme tag-team those newbies! ;)

I'm full of favorites from Eclipse, so for this one, my favorite is a detail. When Bella goes and visits Jacob after his "accident", there is a painting hanging at the end of Jacob's bed. It's a painting of First Beach with the island Akalat (James Island) in the background. I was so pleased to see this, because I've been to Forks and La Push twice (planning a third trip) and that island is so special to the Quileutes. It's also my favorite island there, it's so gorgeous. I've been looking everywhere for a painting like that, but I'm pretty sure it was made just for the movie. Anywho, fingers crossed that I actually win something :)

ReplyDeleteMy friend Dianne and I have gone to see all three in the threater and we're so bad. We laugh at all the WRONG moments. Both of us love it and laugh at it too. Just like I use to sob over Cry Baby, now I laugh and smirk at myself for (still) loving it.
So I missed yesterday's entry because I went to Harry Potter World...but today, one of my favorite scenes is when Bella returns to La Push and all of the Pack are making fun of Jacob and calling Bella back. It makes me giggle thinking about it.

LOVE TWILIGHT!!!! My Personal FAVORITE of FAVORITE parts was when Edward and Bella were in his room... He says the following little HEART Stopping Paragraph.. "I come from an era less complicated.. I would have courted you, We would have Taken shaperone walks in the park and drank ice tea on the porch.. I may have stolen a kiss or two but not before i asked your fathers permission and then i would have gotten down on one Knee and asked.. Isabella Swan would you do me The extrodinary honor of being my Wife!!!!??" it goes something like that! All i know is.. I gigle like a school girl!!

I love the whole movie its great that there is something I can enjoy with my 9 year old girls!!!!! But I think that my favorite part is Charlie trying to have "the talk" with Bella....and she tells him she is still a virgin and he says he likes Edward alittle more!!

ReplyDeleteMy favorites was Jasper's flashback, the newborn training, Emmett chasing Victoria and crossing the line, Bella punching Jake, Charlie's sex talk, the proposal, the tent scene, Bella cutting herself to distract Victoria....um I will just say the whole movie. I liked this one way more than the other two. :)
ReplyDeleteToday's favorite Eclipse scene is when Boo Boo Stewart as Seth comes running up to Jacob. The entire theatre did a collective "Aw" because of his adorableness and 1000 watt smile.

One of my most favorite parts of Eclipse was when Bella punched Jacob after he kissed her. I think Jacob needs to let Bella and Edward be happy together. And Bella needs to stop leading Jacob on.

I love the scene where they ar in the meadow and Bella is talking about her english project. I love when edward says "does he own a shirt" Bella trying to seduce Edward is a classic.

I loved when he showed up in Bella's truck when she couldn't start it...when he and Jacob were about to fight because he kissed Bella...when he was practicing with carlisle...the LEG HITCH, DEFINITELY!!!...when he officially proposed to her and gave her the ring...His jealousy and angst in the tent scene when Bella was "asleep"...and when he was fighting Riley and Victoria.

Wooops! I forgot to tell my favorite part! It's so hard because there are so many, but one of my favorites was when Edward proposed to Bella when she was held "hostage" at the Cullens'. (Oh that smirk!)

I liked the proposal but the ongoing "marry me" "no", Marry Me" "no" was fun and playful. The whole movie was a pleasure to watch as I've seen the other 2 and couldn't wait for this one. The trio is fab!
