LDS Link Buttons

Again I'm thankful for you comments. Every time I get one I check out your blog. The more blogs I see the more I realize how many of you are LDS. I am impressed that so many of you have a link to the church on your personal blog. I thought it was great how they spoke about using your blog as a missionary tool during conference. Elder Ballard has spoken on the importance of sharing your beliefs on blogs also. (You can click here for his talk if you'd like to read it)

I have been waiting 2 weeks to get the official OK from the LDS church. They have generously alloweed me to use their images to make free link buttons for any of you to put on your blogs if you chose. Just pick which button you would like and copy the code below it. On your blog go to 'layout' and then 'add a page element'. You then want to add a HTML/javascript. Just paste the new code that you copied into the HTML/Javascript and save. The button you've selected will show up on your blog and whenever it is clicked it will link back to Mormon.org.

I know not everyone who takes my layouts is LDS, but if you would like to learn more about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints please click here or email me! I'm so greatful for the blessings and the affect this church has had on my life. Please take a minute to see how greatly it can bless you and your families lives as well.

What I really want to know is how do you get the HTML blox for grabbing a picture link up on your blog??

    Thanks!

  34. I love your link buttons! What a great missionary tool. Just 1 question...my very favorite picture is "The 2nd Coming." (You know, the one of Christ's ascension in the clouds with angels all around?) Is there a way to make that one a link button? I have the picture at the bottom of my blog, but would love to make it more special. I just found your blog backgrounds today, so I'll be changing soon. Thanx!

  67. Thanks. I saw something similar on the blog of my friend (and yours) Brenda and she told me you had done all the work of creating the code. I think this is the kind of thing Elder Ballard had in mind!

Just a suggestion: We know that "I belong" comes from that cute song, but other people may feel it sounds like an exclusionist club. Maybe some links that say something else?

    ReplyDelete
  68. That's for the cute layouts and LDS button. It kept sending me to the Mormon.org for investigators. So I chaged it to LDS.org so I could go to the LDS web page. I hope that was alright. I could get to where I needed to go from Mormon.org.

Many are not from Utah and I'm sure aren't LDS. I have been sending e-mail back and forth with a few of them and think it's a great opportunity to share the gospel with them. This link is a great way to start.
    Thanks for sharing!

  157. Thank you for making up these wonderful buttons for us! For our ward missionary goals, they talked about doing small steps towards missionary work every week. I thought that one thing I could do was add a button to my blog. I am so glad I was able to find you through google.

    Much love!
